We're a small studio of animators, designers and storytellers who turn dense ideas into brand films, explainer videos and identity animation that people actually finish watching. Founded by Mira Kessler in a converted print shop in Fitzroy, Orbital Motion has since animated for start-ups, banks, festivals and everything in between.
The Studio

Orbital Motion Co. was founded in 2017 by Mira Kessler, a motion designer who left a career in broadcast graphics to build a studio that treated every explainer video like a short film. What started as a one-desk operation above a Fitzroy record shop is now a five-person team of animators, illustrators and sound designers working with clients across Australia, Southeast Asia and the US.
We believe motion should clarify, not decorate. Every project starts with the question a client actually needs answered — then we build the visual language, the pacing and the soundscape around that answer. The result is work that gets shared internally, sent to investors, and actually watched to the end.
